What does the eClub do? Students have a wide range of interests in entrepreneurship. Some want to start a business in the future, while some enter Wharton with one or more businesses under their belt. Many, many others are currently building businesses. The eClub's goal is to build a community and to offer resources for people at various stages of entrepreneurship. How does the eClub interact with Penn? Entrepreneurship takes many different skills - law, engineering, healthcare, etc - and Penn has fantastic schools in each of these disciplines. The eClub regularly co-hosts speakers and events with other schools around Penn. We encourage our members to get involved with them, and for non-Wharton students, to take part in Wharton entrepreneurship. How does the eClub prepare you in launching your own venture? We connect you with access to funding through awards, fellowships and competitions. We offer learning opportunities through mentoring and seminars. We link you with teammates through our co-hosted networking opportunities, and through groups such as the eLeaders club. I already have a company. How can the e-Club help me? Many of our members have already founded companies. We invite you to connect with them, to share and learn from each other's experiences. We can assist you access advice and funding to help grow your business as well. |
